Cindy Allen—Editor-in-Chief of Interior Design—will lead a live panel discussion with Dorothy Cosonas—Creative Director at KnollTextiles, Kim Yao—Principal at Architecture Research Office, and Nina Bruun—Color/Trend Consultant and Product Designer—on materials, sustainability, and more!


Kim Yao is a principal at New York architecture firm—Architecture Research Office—and is part of the design team responsible for the ARO Collection for Spinneybeck. Kim holds an undergraduate degree in architecture from Columbia College: Columbia University and a Master of Architecture from Princeton University. She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, and has also taught at the School of Constructed Environments, Parsons the New School for Design, and Barnard College. She has lectured widely throughout the United States and abroad. She is on the Executive Committee and Board for AIA New York and the Center for Architecture as the 2020 President of AIA New York.
